My own life experiences led to my interest in therapy and the seeking out of an answer to why my past impacted on my thoughts and behaviours. This paved the way to me taking the leap to start counselling training.
I am a fully qualified psychodynamic counsellor with a Level 4 diploma in Counselling Practice and have experience of working with clients with a variety of reasons for seeking therapy. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Counselling Professionals; I have regular supervision and undertake continual professional development.
I find joy in working with my clients, watching them grow and becoming their authentic selves. I understand that seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to embark on this journey. My approach is warm, empathetic, and tailored to your unique needs. If you are ready to explore your inner world and create meaningful change, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
I have a particular interest in working with trauma, relationship difficulties, whether that be as an individual or as a couple, and anxiety.
