Colette Glen

am an experienced Psychodynamic therapist, which means I also work with the unconscious mind & defences. Perhaps past experiences are influencing your adult life and perhaps effecting your relationships.

This type of counselling can help identify recurring patterns of behaviour to facilitate positive change.

Each 1-hour counselling session provides you with a secure, non-judgemental safe space to explore whatever issues you bring, so you feel heard and understood. The work we do together is completely confidential.

This first session allows you to get a feel for the process and allows you to decide if to identify your therapy goals.

The duration of your counselling sessions is not limited and will depend on your individual needs. We can discuss this during your first session.

Whilst I enjoy working face to face, I can offer online sessions or a mixture of both if this is more suitable for your needs.

Whatever you bring, my aim is to help you move towards positive change, meet your therapy goals, and improve your wellbeing.

About me

I am a fully qualified Psychodynamic counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

I have enjoyed working in the caring profession throughout my working life with a background in Social Services.

My own experiences of having counselling therapy led me on a journey to become a counselling therapist, which remains today the most rewarding and privileged work I have ever done.
