“I started to use Bach therapy as I was feeling anxious, irritable, tired and stressed amongst other things.

Maria helped me to understand how this therapy works and at the beginning I was sceptical but now very happy that I gave it a go. After the first mixture I was really impressed on how focused and calmer I became. I will definitely continue to use them in the future”

“I was facing issues that were really affecting me, I felt heavy and hopeless about it.

Although I am generally good in relation to looking after myself, it didn’t feel  I could do it alone at that point, so I gave Maria’s Bach Flowers a go.

The care that she took in understanding how it really was for me was reassuring and I quite loved the idea that something I love so much (flowers), were the natural basis of a treatment that was tailor made for me.

It really helped me, I felt more able to deal with those difficulties even though I couldn’t change all aspects of it”

BACH THERAPY

The Bach flower remedies belong to a system of 38 flower essences discovered between 1920-1930 by Dr Edward Bach, an English bacteriologist, pathologist and physician.  He acknowledged the importance of viewing a person in a holistic way: emotionally, physically and mentally, realising how important it was to consider feelings and emotions as well as physical symptoms when treating a person.

THERAPY DETAILS

Each of the remedies addresses a particular negative aspect of the personality that disrupts emotional wellbeing.  Dr Bach organised them in 7 groups:

  • Fear
  • Uncertainty
  • Lack of interest in present circumstances
  • Loneliness
  • Oversensitivity
  • Despondency and despair
  • Overcare for welfare of others

They work by gently restoring the balance between emotions and mind, soothing and healing negative emotions and uplifting the state of mind and outlook on life.  They encourage the person to enhance self-awareness in order to identify and select the right remedy needed at that particular moment; this facilitates autonomy and ownership of their own journey of healing and discovery of their true potential.

The remedies are hand produced in England and 100% natural and safe to take. They complement very well any other type of treatment you might be having, making them a fantastic support for emotional health and wellbeing during illness.

I work with adults and children (if under 16 they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Unfortunately due to the alcohol content of each remedy, or mother tincture, I cannot provide help to people with alcohol related issues.

The remedies are useful for all kind of problems and life situations such as:

  • Pregnancy and post-natal
  • Divorce and separation
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Anxiety and stress
  • During illness
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Spiritual work
  • Life transitions and major change
